We provide a fully integrated place of discovery and learning which is accessible to all

We believe that children learn through experience and exploration of their own community and the whole world outside.
About Us
Parents/carers are involved every step of the way through their child’s learning journey with us.
We make full use if what is on offer to us in the local area such as Stave Hill Nature Park, Surrey Docks Farm,
The Printworks, Canada Water Library, River walks, Local parks and St Mary’s Church (Christmas), Local stores Tesco, Asda, Opticians, etc.
We also make full use of what is on offer in London, visiting Museums, Theatres, Markets, Exhibitions, Art galleries and many other facilities these are all accessible by public transport.
We also travel further afield and organise trips to theme parks, Seaside and Zoos.
As we have taken part in the Mayor of London HEYL scheme (Healthy Early Years London) which we have received our Bronze award and are working towards our silver and Gold.
We encourage healthy eating and lots of outdoor activities such as Swimming, Playball, and visits to a soft play facility.
We encourage the children to engage with people in the local community, so we have visits from Kings Dental, Nutritionist, Local Police, Fire brigade , RNLI (Water safety) , PDSA and many more.
The children also have a music/singing class every week.
Learning should be a fun experience so we hope you will come and join us on your child’s new adventure.

Millie started nursery in September of 2018 and I couldn't asked for a nursery for millie to attend for the past 2years.
Millie has become a confident, kind, helpful and caring little girl and you have really had a huge impact on this , you have taught her what she needs to be confident in starting school and I ha e absolutely no worries about her next chapter.
The reson I chose playshack nursery was the staff, the professionalism, caring, positive attitude and kindness, and still all the way through it hasn't changed from the day we first visited the nursery, each child is treated as an individual and delt with on this basis, each day my child has carried out a number error of activities but with plenty of free time, we also get given feedback on what she has been doing.
Also different activities are arranged including taking children swimming and also going museum and places of interest.
At all times, I find the nursery a welcoming place for me and my daughter and I always feel fully confident for my daughter will be cared for in a very positive manner and will enjoy her time in their care.

Our daughter has loved her time at Playshack. The size of the nursery (15 children) and half day schedule has really suited her. She has grown in confidence and social skills, and we have enjoyed the extent to which parents are involved. The nursery arranges a wide range of trips (swimming, museums, theatre) and these have been a real highlight - Tabitha was always very excited for trip day!
I've sat in during snack time at Playshack on a couple of occasions and it captures what the nursery is like: the children take it in turns to help distribute the cups and plates to one another, and Jackie and Sue sit with them and chat, and there is normally a lot of laughing! It really feels like children and staff enjoy each other's company.
Jackie and Sue are very experienced and, most importantly, they and the other staff really care about the children and work hard to make their time at nursery a friendly, fun-filled and enriching experience.
